(40 things to do this summer)

Today was my last day of middle school! I am really psyched for this summer! Kentucky summers are so much different than Washington, and this year, I'll actually have friends :) Here are some ways I'm going to try to spice up my break from school.

1. Spend a ridiculous amount of time with God
2. have a bonfire. I'm pretty sure this is on everyone's list
3. catch lightning bugs
4. pull an all-nighter
5. get frozen-yogurt or ice cream!
6. disney marathon
7. read A LOT
8. make a succulent terrarium (cactus collection) <3
9. ¿reach 50 followers maybe?
10. build myself a new wardrobe
11. get into a new genre of music
12. do my makeup and do it RIGHT
13. re-decorate my room!
14. henna tattoos
15. doodle every day
16. spend quality time with my friends
17. fill a whole entire notebook with thoughts, quotes, ideas and prayers
18. rock a smokey eye, OUTSIDE my bedroom
19. learn how to take good pictures
20. jump off a diving board
21. tan, just a little
22. ROAD TRIP
23. drink good coffee
24. sing every single day
25. play in the rain like a good Washington girl
26. take one good selfie
27. up cycle a t-shirt
28. get hyped for high school!
29. be happy and healthy :)
30. have fun with my little sisters
31. LEARN AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE OMG 
32. get a cute haircut
33. sew one thing.

I'm home! The Olsons safely flew here to Washington yesterday :D

Last night my little sisters went to friend's houses, I went to Julia's and LC3 youth group!

I miss Lakewood/Parkland/Tacoma so much and I just got here! 

To be honest, it felt like I had never left, or I went back in time. Like I just got home from school or something. It's great here.  I find it kind of scary how much growing up somewhere can change your perspective on other places. This place hasn't changed at all, and it's very comforting to me.

Tell the World I'm Coming Home!

Tomorrow morning I catch a 6:50 AM flight back to Washington State with my family and I CAN'T WAIT! I have spent way too much time apart from some of the most important people in my life and I cannot stand not seeing them any longer! 

From church to school to home, so many people have influenced me and made me into the Brenna that moved to Kentucky six months ago, and I am uber excited to show them who I am now. I LOVE YOU PEOPLES

On the other hand though, leaving my friends even for just a week will be pretty hard too, but I see them almost every day ;) I love how they have supported me and been here for me and put up with all my complaining about moving and being a missionary kid, and how I just kept talking and talking about going home. You guys, I'm so sorry, and thank you. 

I'm including some T-Town SWAG so you see a little bit of my home town just in case you've never been there. 

Be on the lookout for new posts of pictures I'll be taking when I get home, and otherwise documenting my trip. :)

I think later I'm going to do people I appreciate, and some other things that I enjoy, but it's late so I'm kinda wacked out...:P

PRAYER WALK, AVERT YOUR EYES!

Today I went on a prayer walk with my youth group :P it wasn't very successful, because when you try to have a serious conversation with a group of hormones (honestly) all they will talk about is Nicki Minaj. But after reading the paper we were supposed to be praying from and meditating about, I saw some really good verses! It was Matthew 6:9-13 and I encourage you to read those verses. Lol it might be kind of familiar to some of you ;) Even though I didn't really feel worthy to be praying "for other people to be saved like me", here are some things that I found and said hey! I'd like to start praying for that!

•  Pray that even though this works is crazy, we should put our hope in Jesus, who will hold us steady. 

• When God meets our needs, we would give thanks, because He is the center of everything

•  To glorify God through actions, thoughts and words

• Remember that people around you are people too, so ask God for relationships instead of quotas

 Sorry, that was kinda strange but I'm in a weird zone right now :P

Ok, now to the funny part! While we were at this park, there was a high school football game going on and you had to pay to enter, so we took a little trail through a bit of trees (by a sewer, I might add, it was NASTY) so we walked along, lalala, whatever, right? We turn around to come back, and this football player, bless his heart, he had to pee! He didn't have time to run to the restroom, so he did what any guy would do and went in the forest. My group was mostly girls so our leader was trying to yell to let him know we were there but he DIDN'T HEAR US and kept right on going! It was an awkward situation if I ever saw one... So anyways, he didn't hear us, we accepted our eyes and turned around again. When he was finished, all was well. We traveled back through the stinky first, and I think someone posted for him :D

Yup! That was my youth group today!
